How far is it from Linate?
Not far. According to Google Maps, from Linate Airport to Via Monte Bianco 33 it is 9.2 km on the A51 ring road: about 12 minutes by car when traffic is normal. By public transport it takes about three quarters of an hour with changes, so from Linate I suggest a taxi or a car.
I read these times on Google Maps on the morning of 1 October 2026: they change with traffic, so take them as a guide.
| From | How | Distance | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Linate Airport | By car, A51 ring road | 9.2 km | 12 min |
| Piazza del Duomo | By car | 8.6 km | 22 min |
| Piazza del Duomo | Yellow metro M3 and bus | To San Donato, the last stop | About half an hour |
| M3 San Donato | On foot | 1.3 km | 18 min |
What should I eat on my first or last evening in Milan?
If you are passing through and want to taste, in one evening, the three kitchens between Rimini and Milan, my menu is made for it: hand-made tagliatelle with slow-cooked ragù, cured meats from Parma and Zibello with hot gnocco fritto, Squacquerone cheese from Romagna, saffron risotto and the veal cutlet on the bone.
If you prefer to be guided, there are the Percorsi: tasting menus in stages along the Via Emilia.
Is it good for a business lunch?
Yes. From Monday to Friday there is a set lunch: first course, main course, side dish, half a bottle of water and coffee for 17. For work groups I have a small room for up to 25 people and a hall for 50 to 65 people.
