In a few words

In December, the Via Emilia lights up. For company and group dinners I have three set menus, all inclusive, from 49 to 65 per person, every evening from 1 to 23 December, for groups of 8 or more. Wine, water, coffee, cover charge and service are already in the price.

A letter, before the menu

If this year the Christmas dinner is up to you…

…then you already know how it goes. Endless messages to choose the place, more for the menu, and at the end of the evening a bill to split that nobody understands.

At my table it works the other way round.

Choose the menu, tell me the evening and the number of guests. I take care of the rest.

From the board to the toast with panettone: wine, water, coffee and cover charge are already in the price. One price per person, written here, that does not change at the end of the evening.

Every menu is a small journey along the Via Emilia without leaving the table: Romagna, Emilia and Milan on the same evening, with egg pasta rolled out every morning and ragù that cooks for eight hours.

Two boards in the middle and nobody has to choose: the dinner starts by itself.

In the price, in all three

You know what you will spend before you sit down. Sangiovese Superiore «Centurione», the most chosen wine at my table: one bottle for every three people. Water, one bottle for every two. Blanc de Blancs for the toast, one bottle for every six. Coffee. Bread from Gran Forno Zanaletti, cover charge and service. Other drinks are added to the bill.

From 8 people, one menu per table: the whole table chooses the same menu; in Le Stelle della Via Emilia everyone chooses their own first course, and you tell me how many of each within 24 hours of the dinner. Within 36 hours of the dinner you confirm the number of guests: it is the number I prepare and the number that is paid. Over 15 people, a 20% deposit holds the date; up to 15 people it is not needed. For companies, at confirmation I just need the company name, VAT number and recipient code or PEC for the electronic invoice. Allergies and intolerances: write them in the intolerances question of the form and remind the waiter, so the kitchen can get organised in time. Every evening from 1 to 23 December; on the evening of Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day and on Boxing Day my kitchen rests.

Where your group sits

From 8 to 21 people: a long table in the main room, among the other festive tables. From 22 to 25 people: the small room, reserved just for your group. From 26 to 59 people: the main room. From 60 to 70 people: the main room, reserved just for your group. I have only one small room and one hall to reserve each evening: if your date is fixed, book it in time.

I write to you: I send you the summary with the rules of the dinner, by email or WhatsApp. You confirm the number within 36 hours of the dinner; in Le Stelle della Via Emilia, within 24 hours you tell me how many first courses of each.

Questions about the December dinners

How much is a Christmas dinner at Nonna Emilia?

I have three all-inclusive menus: Le Stelle della Via Emilia at 65, Le Delizie della Nonna at 58 and Sapori della Tradizione at 49 per person. The price includes wine, water, the sparkling wine for the toast, coffee, bread, cover charge and service.

What is included in the price?

The whole menu, Sangiovese Superiore «Centurione» (one bottle for every three people), water (one bottle for every two), the Blanc de Blancs for the toast, coffee, bread, cover charge and service. Other drinks are added to the bill.

From how many people can I book?

From 8 people up. The whole table chooses the same menu; in Le Stelle della Via Emilia each guest chooses the first course, and you tell me how many of each within 24 hours of the dinner.

Is there a private room for my group?

Yes, in two cases: from 22 to 25 people the small room, and from 60 to 70 people the main room, reserved just for your group. Under 22 people you sit at a long table in the main room; from 26 to 59 your group is in the main room.

On which evenings can I have the Christmas dinner?

Every evening from 1 to 23 December 2026. I have only one small room and one hall to reserve each evening: if your date is fixed, book it in time.

Are you open on Christmas Eve?

Not in the evening: on the evening of Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day and on Boxing Day my kitchen rests. On Christmas Eve I am open at lunch.

Can I have a company invoice? Is a deposit needed?

Yes, I invoice companies and organisations: at confirmation I just need the company name, VAT number and recipient code or PEC. Over 15 people I ask for a 20% deposit to hold the date; up to 15 people it is not needed.

Can I send the menu to my colleagues before booking?

Yes: download the menu in PDF from this page and send it to whoever decides with you. When the date is set, book it from my website.

What if the number of guests changes?

You confirm the final number within 36 hours of the dinner: it is the number I prepare and the number that is paid.

Where are you and how do I get there?

At Via Monte Bianco 33 in San Donato Milanese, near the San Donato stop of the M3 metro. Public parking in the surrounding streets.
